About The Role:
Do you thrive in executive-level environments, orchestrating the functions, flow, and details that strengthen missions and invigorate morale? Sourceree is looking for an energetic, self-motivated individual to support the Department of War (DoW). Working onsite at the Pentagon, you will play a critical role in supporting and staffing high-ranking officials with continuity of operations, task/schedule management, communication, and office management.
Essential Responsibilities
Core duties and responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned by management.
- Manage and prioritize senior leader calendars, ensuring logical scheduling of meetings and events.
- Coordinate and prepare materials for briefings, presentations, and meetings, often involving senior leadership.
- Oversee travel logistics, including Defense Travel System (DTS) arrangements, and prepare travel reports.
- Prepare and proofread classified and unclassified documentation, adhering to DoW guidelines.
- Provide succinct briefing to senior leaders, when needed, and possess strong executive foresight in anticipating needs of principals.
- Coordinate internal and external communications, ensuring timely responses to all inquiries.
- Support high-level meetings by managing agendas, tracking action items, and preparing meeting summaries.
- Assist in strategic planning and special projects, providing organizational and administrative support.
- Provide discretion with sensitive information.
Minimum Job Requirements

Associate’s degree (A.A./A.S.) in Business Administration/Management, Management, Communications, or equivalent field required. Bachelor’s degree (B.A./B.S.) preferred.

Minimum of 5+ years of experience supporting senior executives in government or corporate C-Suite environments.

Proficiency in managing schedules, travel, and logistics in classified environments.

Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with experience drafting and reviewing complex documents.

Expertise in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams) and collaboration platforms like SharePoint.

Exceptional organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple, time-sensitive tasks.

Exceptional interpersonal skills, with the ability to manage up and engage in difficult conversations, when needed.

Work arrangement: Onsite.

Security Clearance: Active Secret clearance required; Top Secret preferred.
